In a stainless shaker, muddle the lime juice, sugar and mint leaves. Pour into a Highball glass; add ice, then pour rum over the ice. Gently stir, distributing mint leaves throughout the mixture. Fill remainder of glass with club soda and gently stir again. Garnish with additional mint leaves if desired.
